They will learn about the various types of specialized equipment that is available to SWAT Teams and how it is employed most effectively. They will learn the strategies and procedures that are employed by SWAT Teams around the world and how they can best introduce them into their system of operation. They will learn what types of weapons systems are required, both lethal and non-lethal and how they function. They will improve their marksmanship skills through a series of drills on the firing ranges. They will learn about close quarter battle tactics and how best to employ these tactics when conducting raids, serving arrest warrants or resolving high risk situations.
