This course of instruction consists of both classroom instruction and field exercises. This course is designed to train an entry-level protection agent in the operational phases of Technical Surveillance Counter Measures. Emphasis is placed on operational skills, use of technology, appropriate routine and emergency behavior and on physical skills necessary to provide a high degree of validity and reliability in the protective organization. This course has been developed to prepare the officers for the tasks associated with performing the duties of a Surveillance Technician during VIP movements. All training is performance-based-training to insure that the participants are absorbing the instructional material by evaluating their ability to successfully put the theory into practice.
Candidate Requirements:
A candidate for this course must be a loyal, sworn police officer in good standing in his department, a military soldier or some other official government agent recommended for the course by his government. Attendees must be in top physical condition and be psychologically sound. Applicants should posses the required security clearance and have a reputation for dedicated service to the country. Applicants must be capable of reading / writing Arabic at the 12th grade level as a minimum and should have a good understanding of the English language.
